The Great Indian Wedding Race

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before participating in The Great Indian Wedding Race. By registering and participating in the competition, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from participating.

 

  1. Non-Refundable Registration Fee:

   – The registration fee paid by participants is non-refundable if the participant chooses to drop out of the competition after completing the registration process.

 

  1. Publication of Participant’s Photos/Videos:

   – By completing the registration, participants agree to allow the organizer to publish their photos and videos on social media platforms concerning the competition.

   – Participants understand that the organizer can showcase their content on the mentioned platforms for promotional purposes.

 

  1. Voting Process:

   – Participants must follow the voting process shared by the organizer on the designated platform or page.

   – If a participant receives votes from a different post or page, those votes will not be counted as eligible for the next round.

 

  1. Final Round and Location:

   – Participants must be prepared to travel to Bangalore if they are shortlisted for the final round of the competition.

   – If a participant backs out from the final round, the next eligible participant will be allowed to participate.

 

 

  1. Final Round Attendance:

   – The final round of the race will span three to five days and only allow the participating couple to be present.

   – No family members or additional individuals will be permitted on the premises during the final round of the competition.

 

  1. Participation in Games:

   – Participants must be willing to participate in the games and activities organized during the final round to compete for the race’s ultimate prize.

   – If a participant chooses to back out from participating in the games, they will forfeit their chance to win the race.

   – participants should not get into verbal fights or manhandling with other contestants in part of the games to win, as it won’t be tolerated, and the couple found doing that will be disqualified immediately from the show.

 

  1. Winning couple to get married within six months after completion of the competition.

 

The other terms and conditions of the race:

 

  • Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • The judge’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered.
  • Two postcard-size color photos of the bridal couple – one full-length and one head & shoulders must be submitted with the entry form. Please make sure your entry is at most 15MB.
  • Photos remain the property of The Great Indian Wedding Race.
  • Entrants must be Indian citizens, residents, or permanent residents are allowed to enter.
  • The finalists must be in Bangalore for the final event, and winners must collect their prizes personally
  • Finalist couples must be willing to appear in their bridal attire for the final event.
  • The Couples must attend the final event.
  • Participants must get married 3-6 months after the show to be considered for the Bridal Couple of the Year.
  • Winners must be willing to appear in The Great Indian Wedding race seasons for promotional purposes. Please note that not all entries will be published. However, all entries will be published on the newspaper’s Facebook page and other social platforms.
  • The Bridal Couple must complete the entry form in full and write a few words about themselves, how they met, their wedding day, and their plans for the future.

 

JUDGING CRITERIA: Because of the high volume of entries, the first round of judging takes place based on your photographs and letter. To improve your chances of going to the next round, ensure your photographs and entry letter are high quality. Once the registration completes, the registered couples’ photos will go live on the date mentioned for voting; the higher the likes for the couples in level 1 a step to be in the top 50 semi-finalists. The public will start voting for their favorite couple by viewing the reels on Instagram. The Fifteen couples with the most views for the reel become finalists. The judging panel comprises professionals in the photographic, beauty, hairdressing, events, Activities, and clothing/design industries.

 

 

Please note that these Terms and Conditions apply to The Great Indian Wedding Race. Participants are responsible for reviewing and understanding these terms before participating. The organizer reserves the right to modify these terms at any time and will provide notice of any updates on the competition’s official communication channels.
